Flash Lite® Trolls
Just a quick note to let you know; I have spent the last forty plus years as an avid user of a certain brand of attractor troll whenever out on a lake trolling for trout. For some reason a few days ago I picked up one of your “Flash Lite” trolls to try. When I got out to the lake my fishing buddy of course had that certain brand I just mentioned. Well by the time we left the lake my buddy was a mite ticked. We used the same line, weights, leader length, bait, and etc. but your Flash Lite, a silver one 60540, out fished our old reliable 9 fish to 1. I had to go out and buy three more because he had to have some.
We have been converted!!!

I am on your walleye Pro Staff and I just wanted to update you on my experiences with the HummBait. As you know I have caught pike, bass, pink salmon, and a few walleyes on the lure. But I thought I would try something different with it. I am probably not the first to tell you about the presentation, but I rigged the HummBait as a teaser inline weight. I did this by taking the hook off and running it exactly like an inline weight. I used the quarter ounce HummBait and although it doesn’t run at the same line ratio depth as the normal quarter ounce inline it’s pretty close.
Anyhow I decided to go out yesterday and run a test on it. I had 4 planer boards out so I staggered one regular inline and one HummBait inline on each side. I ran the same hot harness on every rod and told myself I would run it like that for 2 hours and see what happens. In those 2 hours I caught 7 walleyes and lost 2. Six were caught on the inline HummBaits, one on the regular inline, and the two I lost were on the regular inline. I really noticed how much more aggresssive the strike was on the HummBait inline.

Sledge Hammer

The Sledge Hammer must appear to the silver salmon, like a Salmon Steak does to you and me.

I've found that your Sledge Hammers are the best lures to use for silver salmon in Prince William Sound, particularly with colors white and green. The previous version of the lure worked even better, and they consistently caught over 75% of the fish when other lures were in the water. Unfortunately I lost my last one over the weekend. If you have any left in stock in green or white please let me know and I will buy more.

I have never bougtht a fishing lure that out performed everything in my tackle box. apex,hoochies or roto-baiters are no match for ocean coho using the Sledge Hammer. good season but made better by your product. thanks. jim crosby
Smile Blades
Hi, Everyone!
Just wanted to send a few photos of the fish we caught THIS year on lures I tied myself with the Mack's Smile Blades. They've worked GREAT every year we've used them, and they worked GREAT this year, too!!
These muskies were caught with the Smile blades, too, although we were fishing for walleyes at the time! My muskie was a 44" and Craig's was a 38". We LOVE it!!

The Smile blade does it again! I caught this on our special designed crawler harness, with Mack's Lure beads and trans Black Scale Smile Blades, (one of my favorite colors). No matter what presentation we use, it has a Smile Blade attached!

Rock Dancer
